Alright without further ADO… Let’s jump into the list – these first items are all about mealtime!
1. Little Partners Learning Tower – Toddler Tower
Coming in at $139.99 this is a pricey item but in my opinion, WELL WORTH IT! It allows your toddler to join you up at the kitchen counter – and you KNOW they want to be in on the kitchen action! While it takes a minute to put together, it is really good quality. This comes in different colors – ours is a tan wood color. It’s also adjustable to 4 height positions, is very sturdy, and has a bottom step that can fold in for easy under counter storage. Has all the safety rails you need – we use this multiple times a day!
2. PandaEar Divided Unbreakable Silicone Baby/Toddler Plates
Coming in at $8.95 for a pack of 3, we love the durability of these divided plates for mealtime! Dishwasher and microwave safe (although I haven’t microwaved these), there are pretty strong suction cups on the bottom!
3. PandaEar 3 Pack of Baby Bibs with Food Catcher
Coming in at $6.95 for a pack of 3 – there are various colors but you can get them to match the silicone plates I just talked about! These have the handy food catcher in them, and the bib is adjustable at the back of the neck. Dishwasher safe – I recommend grabbing at least 2 packs because I’m ALWAYS looking for a clean one.
4. WeeSprout Silicone Baby Cups with Straws and Lids
Coming in at $12.98 for a pack of 2, my mom bought these for my son and they were an INSTANT hit! They’re perfect for little hands, are made of durable silicone that’s dishwasher safe. They come in multiple colors and in 2 sizes, either the 4 ounce or the 8 ounce. They’re built in a way that your toddler can’t pull the straw all the way through – they are SO easy for my son to use!
5. ChooMee SoftSip Food Pouch Top
Coming in at $7.99 for a pack of 2, you can order these in different colors. A friend recommended that I order these – and they are so helpful, spill proof and convenient for handing my toddler a food pouch and having them feed themselves!
6. Munchkin Miracle 360 Toddler Sippy Cup
Coming in at $12.44, for a pack of 2 these cups are 10 ounces and larger – but the beauty of them is that they are SPILL PROOF! Made of durable, dishwasher safe material, these come in various colors and are great for bigger toddlers.
7. Ingenuity Sun Valley Compact Folding High Chair
Coming in at $49.99 – this is a really affordable option for a high chair, and the beauty of this is that it is lightweight, and it’s foldable to keep it up out of the way! For ages 6 months and up, it’s a breeze to put together and clean. It comes in multiple colors – and includes a twistable in place, plate! The tray also adjusts to 3 positions and is good for weights up to 33 pounds.
8. Munchkin Snack Catcher – Toddler Snack Cups
Coming in at $5.96 for a pack of 2 – you can get these in a variety of colors, but I love the easy and dishwasher safe cleaning PLUS it contains snacks spillage free and lets your little one access them on demand!
9. Disposable Learning Placemats for Baby – 60 Pack Sticky 12 x 18”
Coming in at $8.99 these are great for travel, home use, eating out – a great learning tool and handy cleanup item! 12 x 18” they’re a great size to use with the Toddler Tower I mentioned in item 1. We travel a lot/visit family and friends so these are handy to have.
Coming in at $9.99, we have this gray whale faucet cover for the bathtub (there are other colors/designs on Amazon I’m sure!) My kiddo is always bumping into everything and curious about where the water is coming from – so this is a must have for bathroom safety.
11. Munchkin Soft Spot Cushioned Bath Mat
Coming in at $9.99 this is a bathroom must have! This matches our gray whale bathroom spout, and is helpful for obvious reasons with a walking toddler you are trying to prevent from slipping in the tub.
12. Mesh Bath Toy Organizer – Pack of 2
Coming in at $9.97, this is a pack of 2 to help keep all those pesky bathroom toys corralled and up to dry!
13. Dr. Brown Infant to Toddler Training Toothbrush Set
Coming in at $8.99, this toothbrush and fluoride free toothpaste for those early years is recommended by my toddler’s pediatric dentist AND the toothbrush is a great size for little hands. My son just loves imitating us and feels proud brushing his own teeth – of course we help him too!
14. Summer Infant by Ingenuity My Size Potty Pro
Ah potty training. This one comes in at $24.98 – and while WE haven’t quite crossed into major potty training territory, but everyone I know swears by this one because it is VERY realistic and just like the “adult” potty. It also has a spot to hold wipes (not that they’ll stay there with a toddler) and the handle flushes with a toilet sound. Super easy to cleanup and take apart – while we aren’t quite there yet with the serious potty training, my son loves “pretending” and playing with this one!
Now for the *pricier* must haves…
15. Graco Turn 2 Me 3 in 1 Car Seat — expensive but it’s a lifesaver!
OK this is a pricey one. Hear me out. Coming in at $349, this car seat is a back saver AND is good for a newborn all the way up to 100 pounds. It can go rear facing, forward facing, and as a highback booster. It’ll last a LONG time, is super plush and comfy (my son falls asleep all the time in this), and it turns SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO TWIST (although that’s rear facing only I think). Complete with cup holders, and a plush head and body inserts, kiddo will be riding in style!
I’ll be doing a travel version of this list (and as a vlog on my YouTube channel) – I have the best travel car seat in mind that we use in our other car if you’re looking for something much cheaper/smaller/and lightweight.
16. Radio Flyer Pedal & Push 4 in 1 Stroll n trike Red Tricycle
Coming in at $79.99, this item isn’t exactly cheap either – BUT we do get our cost per use out of this one! We use this 1-2 times per day, weather permitting – and my son absolutely LOVES this. It converts as they grow, so is basically a stroller until they’re old enough to pedal and steer themselves (12 months – 5 years realistically).
TIME TO HOP INTO TOYS – THESE LAST ITEMS ARE ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN LEARNING!
Coming in at $11.99, we actually just bought this for my son – and these are a big hit (except now the eggs are all over the house, that’s probably the only downside). These are great at helping with sorting skills, hand eye coordination, and just general motor skill development.
My son actually got this one as a gift when he turned one – coming in at $18.88 this is an amazingly interactive book full of animal noises, pictures, environments, and more. It also has a “Spanish” mode for those bilingual households. There are 3 play modes depending on the age of your kid (from playing animal noises to learning fun facts).
19. Casdon Dyson Ball Replica Toy
Coming in at $29.89 – this is THE toy for when I’m trying to get the house cleaned. Like all toddlers, my son wants to help his mamma and would absolutely lose it when he couldn’t use the adult vacuum. My mom bought him this instead, and it’s complete with the vacuum noise. Now he can vacuum until his heart is content! There is a TINY compartment where this technically COULD vacuum up a small bit of things off the floor, but in my experience don’t expect this to actually CLEAN (would be nice if it could).
20. JOYIN Color Sorting Play Food Set – this is a HIT
Coming in at $38.99 (and this one often goes on sale) – my parents bought this toy for my son and it is INCREDIBLE at keeping him occupied. We go to the Farmers market every week, and my husband works at a grocery store, so my son LOVES to sort the play food, carry the little basket around, and take the foods apart (they separate and Velcro back together as an added puzzle).
